I was born in Leipzig and raised in Freiberg/Saxonia. Today I live in Erfurt, Thuringia (all are in East Germany).
I took my first pictures in 1968, when I was fourteen. In the beginning I made only monochrome pictures that I developed in my own laboratory. In the eighties colour slides and pictures were added.
Since few years I have been using exclusively a digital camera. My equipment: Canon EOS 40D with different lenses. Mainly I take landscape- and travel photographs.
I'am a member of the Erfurter Fotoclub "Reflexion 90". Moreover I take part in two photo-communities of the World Wide Web: fotocommunity.de, photo.net
